Director Lokesh Kanagaraj issued a clarification on Wednesday (December 13) following media reports suggesting his Facebook account had been compromised. Taking to his official Twitter account, the Leo director addressed the situation, affirming that he does not possess an account on Facebook.
Amid Lokesh trending on Twitter, screenshots of a purported fake Facebook account circulated, triggering concerns over digital security and hacking. In response, Lokesh shared an official statement, stating, "Hey all, I’m only available on Twitter and Instagram, I do not have or use any other social media accounts. Please feel free to ignore and unfollow any other hoax accounts."
Lokes is, a prominent Tamil film director and screenwriter, made his mark with his debut movie, the critically acclaimed "Maanagaram" in 2017. However, it was his second directorial venture, "Kaithi" in 2019, featuring Karthi in the lead role, that propelled him to widespread fame and success.
